Hoitele minut niin kuin joki hoitelee kivet,
vesi virtaa niiden yli eikä tule takaisin.
Pistele kiviä ihon alle niin että kihelmöi,
poimi yksi kerrallaan, heitä minulla leipää.
Avaa minut niin kuin avaisit silmät,
rävähtäen kirkkaaseen valoon
aamulla ajaudu kiireesti alavirtaan,
kohti isompia kiviä, ohi hyppivien lohien.
Hope minus Nin’s little birds, quick jokes over hotel knives,
vest yells about neck, as we talk green toilets,
pistol girls, alleyways of language, escape keening,
promiscuous kites obeying several winds, miniaturized leaps.
Frau Ava singing throatily about the rood, avails
the seed lodged beneath the tongue, her mouth ballooned
on yours, so crackling june, rocking between
insomnia and this new lean trunk, hyperventilating leaves
