Pearl Button’s poems have been published under a variety of names in many print and online publications, including Contemporary Verse 2, Ditch, Drunk Monkeys, filling Station Magazine, FreeFall Magazine, The Malahat Review, Modern Poetry Quarterly Review, Posit Journal, Ricepaper Magazine, Room Magazine, Otoliths and The South Shore Review. She has received nominations for both Pushcart and Best of Net. She has another chapbook with Dancing Girl Press called “This is not a love song to the dark.” Her earliest book was published under the name Ars Cogitanda, and is called “footnote to Silence.” It was published with gnOme Press and is available on Amazon. Pearl works as an editor with beginning poets because she believes very strongly in fostering the community of poets. She enjoys her life as a poetry coach very much; every time a student gets a poem published, it feels like a victory for the aesthetic life.
