Alison Hramiak is a poet, writer and tutor living and working in West Yorkshire, England. She writes poetry for the sheer joy of it. She is published in several Forward Poetry and New Contexts anthologies, and on various poetry web sites such as Impspired, Dirigible Balloon and The Causley Trust. She reviews books that give immigrants and refugees a voice (www.othersideofhope.com and www.togetherintheuk.co.uk) and loves archaeology and anthropology and the sea.
