Jannett Highfill is a Great Plains poet living in Kansas. The landscape of her poetry is the faultline between austerity and abundance: Oz-Infinity. She has three poetry chapbooks, Light Blessings Drifting Together, A Constitution of Silence, and Brown Restless Green; she is coauthor of A Tempered and Humane Economy: Markets, Families, and Behavioral Economics, Lexington Books. Her poems have appeared in Young Ravens Literary Review, Rhino, Common Ground Review, The Iowa Review, The Greensboro Review, Flint Hills Review and elsewhere. Her poetry has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize.
