Noa Nir is a Jewish-American author who was raised in Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2014, where her poem, "Sestina for Saba," received the Academy of American Poets Prize in 2013. Her work has been published in Queen Mob's Teahouse, Quail Bell Magazine, and Reductress, among others. She lives in Washington, DC with her cat, Friday.
