Sheila Squillante is a poet and essayist living in Pittsburgh. She is the author of the full-length collections, Mostly Human (2020) and Beautiful Nerve (2016), as well as four chapbooks: Dear Sunder (dancing girl, 2023), In This Dream of My Father (Seven Kitchens, 2014), Women Who Pawn their Jewelry (Finishing Line, 2012) and A Woman Traces the Shoreline (dancing girl, 2011). Her debut essay collection, All Things Edible, Random and Odd: Essays on Grief, Love and Food, will be published by CLASH Books in late 2023. She directs the MFA program at Chatham University where she is Executive Editor for The Fourth River literary Journal. She is also Editor at Large for Barrelhouse.
