Sara Lupita Olivares is originally from Michigan, and received her MFA at Texas State University. Her poems have appeared in Fourteen Hills, Columbia Poetry Review, Wicked Alice, Horse Less Review, and elsewhere. She currently teaches in Harlem, and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her family.
