Felicia Zamora is the author of the book Of Form & Gather, winner of the 2016 Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize from University of Notre Dame Press. She won the 2015 Tomaž Šalamun Prize from Verse, and authored another chapbook Moby-Dick Made Me Do It (2010). Eyes fill the aspen bark, oversee
the nest’s sag—feather tucks
twig and scrap stitch—reminisce in mend;
lungs crisp in air; now who’s witnessing
all statues caught {once} the sun sullies
