Kelly Terwilliger grew up on the Oregon Coast and now lives in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. She is the author of three collections of poetry, with a book of poetry, prose, and paintings forthcoming. Her work has appeared in journals and anthologies in the US, Canada, and Britain and she won first place in the Guernsey International Poetry Competition—which means, to her great delight, her work has also appeared on buses and in an airport in the Channel Islands. She was awarded a residency at PLAYA in Central Oregon to work on a collaborative writing project about swimming in wild places. Kelly also teaches and performs as an oral storyteller.
