Kate S. O'Connor is the pen name used by a U.S.-based poet when writing about her journey parenting a transgender child and falling in love with the trans community at a time of heightened transphobia. She has published under this name in Third Wednesday and under her other name in various literary journals. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. While she's not always what Maggie Smith calls a decent realtor, she does always believe that you could make this world beautiful. (In fact, you already do.) This is her first chapbook.
