Amy Gaeta is an advocate, poet, punk, crip, teacher, and scholar committed to disability justice. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research attends to the affective and psychological dimensions of human-technology relations under mass surveillance. In poetry, she is experimenting with accessibility software and exploring mental illness, desire, and the impossibility of “human” and “domestic.” Her poetry has appeared in Crazyhorse, Ars Poetica, South Carolina Review, the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Soundings East, and many more. She divides her time living between Madison, WI, Boston, MA, and the internet.
