Up to my ankles in petals,
kettling my feet into a soup.
You boil my knees, my hips, my hair
in the small kitchen where rodents
replace vacuums & the backwash
tiles move like cinema
until my body is a sponge
that you twist & lay
on the windowsill
before pressing me into a frame.
