from SWANS:
The roads curve to ignore the moon and we draw up blueprints here not truth. No star charts don’t work here--they take you to the city and back city and back and back here we all know constellations hinge like broken umbrellas. Floors and wires feather together with the seasons so we build office parks over the earth--it works. We need nothing except stillness to stop the city’s orange barricade narrative of nuance and noir parades. The stoplights don’t glow red here--they’re orange.
