Mariah is a poet, teacher and interdisciplinary researcher. Her novel-in-sonnets, the love i do to you, was nominated for a Felix Dennis Award for First Collection, shortlisted for The Poetry Book Awards and won the A.M. Heath Prize. The collection was also selected as the Oxford Poetry Library’s ‘Book of the Month’ in February 2020. She is the Jacqueline Bardsley Poet-in-Residence at Homerton College, Cambridge and a Fellow in Creative Practice at University College London. Mariah is one of the founding editors of bath magg, an Arts Council England-funded journal of the best new UK and international poetry.
