For the first year of her life, Tiny Tina slept in a bathtub in the yellowest mobile home in Indian Hills. There were no magnets on the refrigerator. There were no dishes in the sink. Tiny Tina’s mother swaddled her in towels long after she was too big for swaddling. Her father plugged the shower drain with pages from the Pennysaver. “Just in case,” he said, though no one was sure what that was supposed to mean.
